After doing research, I wasn’t able to find too many drawbacks to vinyl siding. It is easy to install, last a lifetime, and is even easy to repair when you do happen to have problems or if you are doing in addition to your home. About the only drawback I was able to find with vinyl siding, is that over long periods of time, it can become brittle and break.
These are just a few of the qualities of vinyl siding that make up some of the differences in price that you will see between some of the other sidings such as hardie siding, and aluminum siding. Vinyl siding cost will be different for every home, but you can figure that you will pay less with vinyl siding, then you would pay with most other sidings.
